Grandmother from Michigan Shoots & Kills 17 year old grandson

Sandra Layne, 74, grandmother of victim has been charged with murder for the alleged shooting of  her grandson, Johnathan Huffman, 17.

Hoffman was staying with Layne in a condo in the Maple West Villas complex. At 5:30 Friday  night Hoffman called dispatchers and had screamed that he had been shot by Layne multiple times. Moments  prior to the call from Hoffman, Neighbors allegedly calling in reporting that shots were fired. 

Hoffman was rushed to Botsford hospital and was pronounced dead 30 minutes subsequently after. Medicals reports show that he had two bullets still intact in his body and found eight entry/exit wounds.

Layne was later arrested and confessed to  this horrifying crime and still held the caliber semi-automatic gun upon arrest.
